It's a natural finish bass, so the answer would be sort of. Technically no Warwick bass needs wax. But you have the ability to use wax to strengthen the finish and help seal water, sweat, and oil out. Also, it makes it look pretty.
I'd recommend taking that option!

I'm going to look a new one at the weekend, but I'm almost sold on it already. The reason for the question was that the spec is listed as "Dirty Blonde" stained satin finish. Perversely maybe, I miss waxing my old Bubinga corvette, and although it wouldn't be a deal breaker (obviously), I just needed to know RIGHT NOW :lol: ...so thanks

It does NOT need waxing. see here:
it has a natural stain satin finish. Wax will ruin it. Many people here will recommend you using a damp cloth to wipe it down and that's it. However the neck seems to be Ovangkol and if it does not have a satin finish then that does require waxing :wink:
the back of the body I see it is ovangkol. does it have the same finish as the front? if not then it can be waxed but if it does have the satin finish then treat as above. :wink:
