Hi!

My idea of CS bass...

-Thumb BO 5 string, non-broadneck
-ovangkol body, bubinga top, natural oil finish
-ovangkol neck with wenge fretboard
-"Jazzman" pickup configuration (MEC)
-3 band EQ MEC
-black hadware

Your opinion?
How it would sounds like :?:

this is pretty much the same as the LTD 2001 bass, except the LTD had 2 band electronics and an ebony fingerboard

it'll definatly an excellent bass. go for it :D

this is what it'll look like (but with a lighter fingerboard);

edit- :? did you add the jazzman bit after my post (or am i just blind) obviously thats another difference

I have no clue how the Jazzman config will sound, but I really like the looks of it on a Thumb 5 bass. I'm sure it's also very versatile. :D

The Jazzman config is very versatile, it goes from really clean and soft to dark and hot very easily. So you'll have lots of fun with this particular configuration.
