Seeing as I own a Fretless BO... Yes, it is amazing, but honestly, I want to get a hold of an NT for difference of opinions.

I definitely agree that the $$'s represent big/fat and versatile - and I assume you mean the Streamer LX is articulate and versatile? (I would agree by the way)

Just for the record, I'm considering making a bid for a Thumb BO right this minute...

Yeah, I forgot to type "LX".

People think the Thumb is not versatile which is true and false. Yes, there are only variations of one basic tone, but it can be used however you want. I also think the Thumb has a response to dynamics/attack/strength etc. like no other.

I want to get a Streamer $$, or Stage II for versatility, but most of what I want out of a bass guitar right now the Thumb BO does with a vengeance. :twisted:

lol glad you like Ireland and I would have taken the Thumb BO home but I didnt have the money!

I do slap, but for fingerstyle & thumb- Old-School--Thumb rules.

Yeah, I do have to eq a bit to get more oomph with tapping/slapping. Kinda why I'm on a new preamp/eq/amp search.

But yeah, fingerstyle with a Thumb is freaking amazing!

I 'd say the Thumb BO is the "commando" of Warwick. For special missions only, but it kicks arse carrying them out, heh.

I must say, I've tried several Corvettes and a couple Streamers...but only the Thumb has that muscle and solidarity you can feel while you play. To me, it's like the muscle car of the lot. I don't even want to play my other fretted basses.
