Thumb 5 BO with Twisted neck for $999 (US)

Although someone who would let a Warwick Thumb 5 get a twisted neck should be called 666, I found one on sale for 999. The twist is significant. Has anyone repaired a twisted neck? Can I get a replacement? How much would that replacement be? Is it interchangeable with a Corvette 5 neck. I'd sacrifice my Corvette 5 for a Thumb 5, or at least think about it.

You can buy a replacement neck from Warwick but you'll have to send them your twisteed neck first.Drop DBG's an email before you buy it though.
 
check the for sale section there is a guy selling a Thumb BO5 shipped to TX for 895 straight neck.

there are 2 or 3 other thumbs there for sale. I sould not risk doing this and hget anothwer neck because that new neck will be at least $200 in what i have heard so far so the bandaid with the broken nail might be more prciy than another new finger. you know what I mean?

if the price was $500 yes but 999 for this? I would not go for it. that's me and I am weird anyways.
 
I was saying this since 3 days ago I got a 2005 BO for 1000 in mint cond. striaght neck still golden letter on the pick ups.

I would not offer more than 400 or 500 for this IMHO especially if replacing the neck will cost more and also make me wait until it goes to DBG gets fixed and back. (in addition to shipping to DBG to and from)
