They are asking 1800 but I'm sure that's flexible. I was in NJ last week and saw it. I played perfectly. If I had extra cash I would have brought that home.

Is that a good price? I saw a brand new one in the Paramus store for $2800. I actually bought the Corvette 5 Standard they had, but swapped it out for Corvette 5 $$. Much better for me, IMO.

I got my 98 Thumb with wenge neck from a GC in Indiana but I live in Maryland. One of the guys at the Rockville, MD GC did an inventory search for used Thumb basses across their chain of stores and found an older one with a wenge neck in Indiana. You might want to ask if your guy can do the same for you. Good luck in your search, I would love to have an SSII.

you can also access their used gear online. guitarcenter.com and click on used gear. Put Warwick into the keyword slot on the right of the screen but don't enter anything in the category section . leave everything else alone and it'll bring up every used warwick in stock. for whatever reason it'll also list a lot of other things, but I've found if I click on basses in the category slot I miss a lot of basses.

They don't always have everything online. The Bass I saw was not on their web site. There is a Thumb 5 on their web site in the Paramus NJ store.

I got two Used Warwicks from GC in Colorado and neither of them were on the site.

GC Can be inconsistent with that.

I've also noticed that a bunch of other stuff comes up... Seems upon further inspection that they have a store in Warwick, RI, and that store's whole inventory shows up. ~M~
