The two Warwicks- which would you choose?

Two for sale at a good price on ebay so far . Which would be the better value given that I have the std bubinga vette and would like something different in my bass arsenal.

A 5 String FNA Jazzman


or

A 5 String Streamer LX

I would highly recommend the FNA Jazzman over the Streamer LX... the FNA Jazzman pickup combo is one of my favourites and I think would give you a different sound than the Bubinga 'Vette.
 
Personally I would go with the Streamer LX for the simple reason that I tried both and liked the LX better although I think that the LX is somewhat closer to the vette than the FNA.
 
I've been keeping an eye on that LX myself, although I really wish it was a broadneck. I keep saying it lately, but the LX is Warwick's best kept secret... ;)
 
I'm leaning toward the Jazzman but there's no telling what the ultimate price will be by the time that bid deadline comes up. The LX will probably go for around 600 USD. If you really want it, I won't bid on it.

$600 would be hard to pass up, but I don't really need another bass, especially a 5-string that I won't play very often. The JazzMan probably gives you a better contrast to your STD's - kinda what I went for with the LX and my $$'s...
 
They both look stunning, but I`ve heard the Jazzman more live than the LX, and its a killer for both metal, electronica and rock. It just seems like a versatile weapon.
 
Thank you for the input thus far. I don't have a fretted five so that was why these two caught my eye. The LX deadline is in a few hours and I believe I'll let it pass. If the price is right in five days, I'll go for the Jazzman.

Same as above...both are great and you can't really go wrong with either.....LX for me though.
 
Well, I admit I got tempted and bid at 540 USD when there was only an hour left. However, the bidding shot it up to 735.00 in the last 20 miinutes, and she found a new home elsewhere. Now on to the Jazzman...
 
Don't look now, but there's another Streamer LX (looked like a broadneck this time) and a Streamer JazzMan. ;)

I finally did my taxes last night... there will be no bass purchases for me for awhile unless I sell my G&L! :x:lol:

Thanks, man! I actually saw her go up yesterday... 'Fortunately' it's a Mk3 and a 5-string, 'cause I'm a total sucker for Mk2's and 4-stringers... but I'll be keeping an eye on her anyway... :P

Yeah, in think the 'Custom Series' Wals (Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3) started in 1983 - they had mahogany bodies with exotic tops. The 'Pro Series' prior to that had ash bodies. And by the way, shedua, like on that Mk3 is the same thing as ovangkol...

*EDIT: Here's the sexiest Wal I've ever seen...

I got to try a 2000 Thumb BO 5 yesterday at the local Guitar Center. Now I'm jonesing for an NT.
