Sure! I want it in screaming ferrari red :D

nah, jk. Just the usual - taking off the old wax, fixing few dings and applying new wax or oil finish.

Guys, thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing more lovely "Paddle Heads".

How's the balance on those slim body streamers?

perfect - I think at that time they tried to have an exact weight so when the piece of wood was heavier
the body got slimmer:-)

I am out of paddles:-) you have seen all I got. I hope that many owners will take up the thread:-)

Hey schlobodan - this will probably sound like a dumb question but are these Streamer Stage I's?

These are Streamer Basses:-)

The concept of Stage 1 and Stage 2 was only developed after 1986

I'd consider any Streamer with cherry wings not a Stage 1:-)

ahhh OK - thanks!

I have really grown to like the P/J configuration - I might need to get one of these some day ;-)

My Streamer (no serial):

very nice - one of the cleanest specimen I have ever seen:-)

the bass was made rather late 84/ early 85 the licensed by spector appeared somehere between #200 and #300

the headstock was changed sometime in 85 to the current headstock.
I had one from January 86 with the current headstock:-)

Couple of pics of "refinish" or better said "restoration". Still in progress

Before

Maybe it's not best seen on this picture but fingerboard, neck and body are dirty on some parts. Wenge looks brighter and cherry looks darker than it should. You can see dark spots around the pickup area, around the slapping area, fretboard is dirty and stripes on the neck don't "pop out". There are also quite a few nicks.

After

CLEAN! :)
