The next LTD edition?

Well a Nobby would be great, but I really dont think it appeals to enough people from a marketing standpoint. Though LTD are limited editions, and most people that buy LTD's (im guessing) are like Mala, collectors. I would love to have one, but...... idk. I am thinking, Corvette, or FNA Jazzman, (since last year was a thumb and there have only been 2 LTD body styles) Probably some dark wood, dirty blonde is bright. FNA or wouldn't be suprised to see a $$, due to the fact its new and has been a great choice. Maybe a Zebrano body? Swirly bubinga? IDk... I just hope its cool. Not a fan of the streamer, sorry!
 
Something new could be cool, but they should do one of their poor left in a corner models like a katana or stryker or something... or what about 25 ltds commemorating 25 years?
 
yeah maybe they make a fewl different LTD. models and do 25 of each.
 
As much as I like your guys company I'm afraid your all wrong,hehe.It's going to be a STREAMER LTD 07.
Infinty,Thumb & corvette (FNA) have been done so I'm betting the farm on the Streamer,Pro-M or LX. :wink:

Maybe, Gonzo, maybe... But I'm going to buy another bass next year and I'm also going to vist Markneukirchen. So it's obvious that I'm up to buy a LTD2007 :) And I like my Corvette and I was going to buy Fortress. So that's why I put my 2c for this desighns as LTD2007! :lol:
 
For the 20th Anniversary they came up with the Infinity - something completely new. I agree that the 25th deserves something new also.

The only thing is that there have been LOADS of new products in the last 5 years. I'm not sure there's room in the range for another body shape. The more recent body designs (Katana, Buzzard, Stryker, Infinity SN) are small sellers in comparison to the Corvette, Streamer & Thumb.

Instead of a completely new design, the FOrtress shape is there to be revived. It's a known "Warwick" shape, they just need to find a way to make this one extra special.

The new LTD has already been decided on. I will let all of you know soon enough. And to Mr. JazzMan, I already ordered my next custom shop and buckeye burl is involved in it. It's gonna be the first Buckeye Burl Warwick ever made :D :D.
 
will we have the chance to see some work-in-progress pics of your next bass ollie? :D

I'm already back in the Dominican Republic, so I don't think I can be taking pictures of it. But the progress I saw was that I got to pick the top myself.

I'm so jealous! If it had been available 12 months ago, I'd have buckeye burl on my FNA.

And I bet you're going to stick it on an Infinity too, aren't you? That will look PHENOMENAL with the soundholes etc. That's next on my wishlish - Infinity5 NT fretless with buckeye burl top and piezo.

But, the wife's got a kid on the way so not much chance of getting it soon...

Can't wait to see yours though. And the new LTD...

The bass is supposed to be given to me during NAMM in California in about a month. Here are the specs:

Damn, I can't wait for those pics! I think green LEDs fit Buckeye Burl best.

that bass will undoubtedly be one of the nicest looking the WCS has ever built! Been drooling over the new burl woods almost every day since they were introduced!
 
And because I've been away for a while I was stupid enough to think that Ollies new bass was the LTD 2007 :oops: However, I have placed an order of the 2007 anyway so it better be good :D
 
You placed an order on the Ltd. 2007 eventhough you don't even know what it is yet? What if it's a Katana NT with a pink matte finish?
