The Heads Up Thread

A bargain Streamer bolt-on:

It's been refinished into black, and some beggar (;)) has put a thumb-rest on it, but at £400 BIN it still looks like a bargain to me. Is it an LX? It seems to match the LX specs except that it's got a maple-neck.

It is a pre LX model when they were just the Streamer BO, I've had communications with the seller in the past re. Warwicks and other than being refinished it is what it appears to be!

A tip on a rare bass for sale : Dolphin Pro II in Norway

Dolphin Pro II, red finish

1015€ is the price.

The text translates as follows:

Well treated bass with MEC-pups and preamp. Easy to play and good balance. Maple neck with "two-way truss rod" (or something like that).

Hey Charmand G,good one, whats the story again of the Pro II weren't they made in Korea or Japan?

Yep, they were made in Japan. Pretty rare basses indeed.

Yeah, they were supposed to be made outside Germany, but they didn`t meet company standards so they dropped the whole line.

I don`t know the building quality on this one, but the price is about the same or below Corvette Pro in Norway. Cool design though.
