The Heads Up Thread

Yes, he added the pics some days later. Not a paddle. I also can´t see any features of a limited series.

Could someone please IMMEDIATELY buy this Infinity? Seller goes down to 2.300,- EUR. Blue side-LEDs! If no one else makes the deal, I grab it! They already rejoice at Mastercard!

Been looking for an Infinity NT and would have loved to take this out of your hands, but unfortunately, it has one string too many...
Go for it!

all this flame maple under soo much paint:)

get it and give me your buckeye burl!

Sorry, that is not for sale, the best Warwick I ever owned so far (in my opinion of course). The B string of this Streamer is a destroyer! I think more about selling the Thumb NT5, but only if that black Infinity is able to replace it.

By the way: this Infinity has a humbucker witch can be split ;-). And I don´t have problems with it´s color, I still can take a look at the birdseye maple and the quilt maple of the other two Infinitys. Or the buckeye burl of the SSI, or the cocobolo of the SSII... damn, I need to contact a doctor, too much GAS! But on the other hand I have to save the cost of treatment to buy the next bass - the greek call this a dilemma!

it has no humbucker but a twin J which is active and cannot set to serial mode!
only parallel and coils seperately.
this will not help the need for a serial sound - but!!!!
you know hardy you have a mid pot ;)

Aaaaaarrrgggghhhhh... I WANT MY SERIAL MODE!!!! I WANT I WANT I WANT!!!! The main problem is, that I am too stupid to use the pots. That is no joke. A pot you can turn... 10 % up, 50 % up, 20 % down... And I do not stop turning them. The next time I use that bass I do not find the sound I had before. This is the reason why my live-equippment are a Preci and an Ampeg SVT.

But I´m getting off topic. Anyone searching a Dolphin II in a hard case for 750,- EUR?

And one more! The Flea Unplugged-Bass!!! Still a prototype, but pre-orders will be accepted!

Off-topic or not: What in your opinion is a good Preci? One of the many Fenders? A Lakland? Dingwall?
I think I pretty much got all the basses I want - except a Preci and an Infinity NT. (Or maybe a SS1 before the Infinity?)

MY Preci is a good one! If you ever get the chance to test a Fender Preci road worn: it lives! Ugly as hell, but perfect for a band with only one guitar, when you have to (and want to!) play aggressive and do not want to hide behind the rhythm guitar. Never played Laklands or Dingwalls. The Infinity NT is lively too but not that aggressive. Too bad my Preci is not suitable for any playing beyond the 15th fret. It looses any punch and it just sounds crappy. The SS1 sounds more "perfectly", it´s a ideal Hifi-bass. Come around and play them!

MIM Nate Mendel Sig with quarterpound, Badass II bridge and a thin neck profile. Great value! Sounds huge!

Thanks, Hardy and Marco.
I quickly moved my latest Warwick acquisition, the LX, to the top of my favorites list - just love its "perfectly" clear sound from the neck PUs. But, it also got me gassing for the not so perfect P-sound.
The road worn has been recommended to me before, the Nate Mendel is new to me. Interesting that both are MIM. I had intended to get an American Standard 2012, but I guess I'll reconsider...
