attention attention!!!!! very rare warwick tv bass on ebay germany!!!!!
if i hadn't purchased a new bass already, i'd probably bought this one....

definetely serious. warwick did start with a small amount of this before the nobby:)

Historical or not, you can buy two better Wicks for 3 grand imo. Maybe I'm just a pleb.

Looks like a Musicman with a regular P/J configuration.... Cool, but I'd rather have a real Warwick than this clone, not offense.

WOW, vintage Warwicks are starting to reach vintage Fender prices... :D

Anyone bid on this 88 SSII? I was outbid, but it went for a couple hundred more than I would have paid anyway. I would have bid more had it been all original.

Nice bass. However I hate when they advertize their bass claiming that old basses were better than new ones, this is simply not true. We are not Fender... Our basses are actually better :-)

The new ones are technically better but the old ones do sound different in many cases. When it comes to sound there is no 'better' but only 'different'. Each has its pros and cons.

I do prefer the sound of newer Warwicks over the really old ones btw but that is purely personal taste...

Sure, you are right, I am ot even talking about this. He says:
The bass is from 1988 back when Warwick was a small German company handcrafting basses with the best materials and an attention to detail that doesn't exist much these days.

This is not true. We are still a small German company, and I think we have better materials, and actually much more attention for details as back in 88.

I once asked HP about some basses missing serial number, and he answer to me "I am lucky that I survived the 80,s, don't ask me about serial number :-))
