I have been watching that post for the entertainment value. Some people don't seem to understand that when you have a custom bass made to your own liking, it may not be to other people's liking, at all. Some bass players don't like brilliant all white bass guitars. Me for example. Some bass players don't want their instrument to light up like a Christmas tree. Me again. And, believe it or not, some people don't feel like paying new prices for used products. The latter pretty much applies to everyone. Any time you customize something, house, car, or bass, you have reduced the pool of potential buyers if you decide to sell it later on. And that often means you will have to sell it for less.
 
Yeah true, I've contacted him but he won't budge and is quite determined to get this expected price

Could get 2 USA NT spectors for that haha
 
Funny, the longer he waits to sell it the less it's worth. I personally love the look of it, if anything I'd be the buyer likely to give him the highest asking price, but it's still $2000 too high. Once or twice a year every warwick dealer drops their prices for a couple of weeks on new basses and they dip way below $5000 for similar builds.

Plus he says he used it in studio and in some gigs in his ad, but then in his reply says he only used it in studio. It's a simple error, if it's indeed an error, but if I actually felt like posting on talkbass anymore, I'd call his ass out on that.

Corps en 2 pièces en érable flammé.
Manche en 4 pièces en érable avec inserts en wenge.
Touche en wenge 24, frettes en laiton.
Micros: deux micros MEC simple-bobinage actifs.
Pre-ampli : 2 pre-ampli actif à 2 bandes (1 pour chaque micro).
Réglages : 3 potentiomètres doubles (1x volume/balance, 2x aigus/graves).
Chevalet : Warwick 2 pièces en laiton. Chaque corde est réglable en verticale ainsi que en horizontale pour pouvoir rapprocher ou éloigner les cordes.
Sillet : « just-à-nut 1», hauteur de chaque corde réglable individuellement.
Mécaniques : Warwick dorées.
