The Heads Up Thread

Sometimes, you're just glad that your Obsessive Compulsive Disorder impulsing to buy basses is impaired by Corvette, maple fretboard, and "too weird" inlays.

Are you talking about the P-NUT out of Hong Kong?

If someone did take the risk (even after hearing Bonez's story)...I suppose you would be protected through PayPal from fraud (I would hope)...and at the very least, most credit cards have good protection against bad deals.

Still though.

I agree with ya Scott, after I read Bonez's story I looked at the guy's feedback. I am not taking that risk but my point is sometimes usually if it is too good to be true there is a reason.

don't know where to share this, so ....

if someone is interested buy this : https://www.gizmotron.com
I can share a private order link, available only for USA and Canada.
Europe has to wait some weeks.

an american friend of mine as tested this "thing" and sent me videos of it (I am not allowed to share, sorry)
and I am very seduces by this toy.
on a fretless bass, with some effects, it can deliver great ambiances , or themes......

I will order it as soon as I can.

I will also purchase one for my Gumbass (the weird instrument I made)

In my humble opinion, an e-bow might be easier to play with, at least on bass. Except if you want to play chords.
But sounds nice.
Do you have a video of your GumBass ?

for the Gumbass :
1st and 2nd tunes, and some others :)

at 50'25 with Ibrahim MAALOUF , guest star
please be indulgent for my chorus,
the instrument is quite hard to play, and the stage fright was very intense for this gig ...... :'(

I think we need to know more about this.
(and damn, you're good !)

ok then,
I'll write a topic dedicated to the instrument.

BTW, my luthier is making a new one for me, 5 strings ..... it will be great I think
