Guy selling a Dirty Blonde 5 but it seems he has some more Wicks in his mancave... Some VERY awesome it seems. Oh and a Dolphin Pro1 5str in the back on the left.

$_20.JPG

I "only" see 10 Wicks in that pic. He's got nothing on the Anthony :P

I've got this basses Unmolested Cousin. 1999 Thumb BO BN. If you can get past the 6Kg of unbalanced Mass on your shoulder, it's a Dream to play. I'll bet those Barts and that Aggie pre "Don't Suck!" The P-Pup in the Geezer Butler position?!? If it was Local, I'd jump on it!

The guy ain't too nervous about selling it, he only answered after three mails from me.
We'll see.

I know I hould not even consider this...
But I am, in a weird way, attracted to this poor bass...

That one caught my eye a while ago. Surprised one of our French brothers hadn't already jumped all over it.
I figured it would be a bass you'd have to see in the flesh to see how much "work" it's has done before haggling
At that price though maybe worth le punt.

Henry if you do snag it and it's not for you let me know. Unless it's ♣♣♣♣e :D

So McGuyver wanted a P bass but all he could get was a thumb. Smart thinking!

Hey man those Precisions are hard to find. Now Thumbs, they're a different story. They're everywhere. Right ?

That senseless pickguard on the backside seems to keep the buyers away... chance for a real catch if you are looking for a Streamer.

That's a stupid thing. I mean WHO did think that drilling 6 holes in the wood would be better than some buckle rash ?

Lol I thought the same. Hey lets preserve the back by drilling holes into it..

I ordered my Buzzard "worn" so I don´t get crazy about all the marks it will get very soon.

Oh, so that's why you don't have it yet ? because she'll be on the road for two years to earn the scars ? :-)

A bit of strange thumb here. Possible mix of different Thumbs ? I like it I think.

What the?? Wow....never seen a Thumb like that before.

Maple body, neck & headstock veneer...bolt on fretless with a single humbucker style pup and brass JANIII.

I can't believe I just typed those words together about a Thumb!

Seems like a good price on a very unique BO.

Hmmmm...I just noticed the official info from the serial number. Says it had a "Burgundy Red Oil Finish". I wonder if this was sanded down once in it's life.

I feel it may have been 2 different thumbs morphed into a hybrid.

The ad mentions a 2001 special edition - looking back they appear to have been bubinga not maple. One for the detectives ;)
