The Heads Up Thread

So the new german Pro series is crap, hmm hmm... 3.000 bottle caps is a steal, ofc.

And every Thumb should have 3 pus that close together, Victor Wooden said this in an interview!

Why would you bastardize such a wonderful instrument that cost 3.5k AUD like that? What's greater, his obvious financial excess, or recklessness?

He is honestly convinced that this has now made this bass vastly superior to any other German wick and increased the value far beyond any other standard German Warwick. He once again reiterated that the New German pro series are crap and he has been playing Warwick’s for 6 years and his knowledge is superior for anyone short of working in a music store apparently.

I told him drilling holes in the body and connecting a plastic pickguard does not increase value. He continues to try and convince me that the aguilar pre amp is superior to anything MEC builds (because its weak) so that has also increased value, and that he has put a third pick up in creating a wide range of tonal advantages which also increase the value. Oh and to add that he is not a very nice person at all and does not react well to feedback.

It’s been a hilarious day today, There is definatly some crackers out there in the world (esp when it comes to warwicks!) lol

Can we open a thread titled “the most funniest and stupidest classifieds in the world?”

He needs to eat a bag of d1cks :-)

What sort of bag? Like a zip lock with 'em tossed in like raw sausages, or more of the paper bag with just the tips sticking out?

BTW ba2, I finally got my 05 Ltd. #186, NOS from the Austin NAMM show in 2005. :)

Kumbaya, My Lord, Kumbaya !
Someone's Laughing My Lord, Kumbaya !
Someone's Crying My Lord, Kumbaya !
Someone's praying Lord, Kumbaya !
Someone's singing Lord, Kumbaya !

:-)

Weh weh weh, where are the "it's his bass and he can charge what he wants for whatever reason, cumbaya, I hate fretless basses with fret lines" folk? :P

He can charge what he wants, he is just an idiot

Oh, of course. But then again, Bass Player Magazine defended Flea on putting a sticker on a one-of-a-kind Shell Pink 1961 Jazz using my sarcastic logic.

Be Flea and it´s o.k. to wipe your wiener on a one-of-a-kind bass.

If there was a type of person who's weiner wipe could damage the finish of a bass, it's guys like Flea.
