Can anyone give me impressions on these little beasts?


The fact that the whole rig would weight less than half of my Ampeg combo really got into me.
How does it sound? Does the head have any kind of digital sound processing?

I don't have any personal experience but they got fantastic reviews in a recent Guitarist magazine in the UK.
 
other thing that got me: fantastic reviews everywhere!
 
only thing i own by tc is the tc vintage comp.
it's great compressing unit, but it distorts with too much input... nothing to do with their amps though :D
 
I used to have a TC Electronics Chorus, and it was by far the best chorus I've ever heard. Sold because I couldn' find space for Chorus in my kinda sound...

I have tried two of three new TC amps. They have a combo now too!

I love the Classic one. So the one without al the presets. Too much possibilities IMHO. The Classic head is easy to use and one of the best sounding small amps I tried the last two years (Ashdown, Markbass, haven't tried the new Markbass with a preamp tube, though).

The vintage tube sound emulator things works nice, but on quite high volumes.

Nothing (or maybe the Hellborg) beats a tube amp, but the TC amps sound fabulous.
 
I only tried this set up in a shop,but it sounded really nice with every bass I plugged into it.
