maybe il busk 4 the money for it, i know a mate who knows how to power an amp with a car battery, throw in a loop pedal and il get the money for it in a couple of decades :lol:

If one really wants the sound of an ebony body, but at a practical weight and cost, I suppose something like a maple body with ebony covers would be the same sound and appearance.
Any experts wanna input something on that ? Maybe 'hog instead of maple ? and how thick would the the covers hafta be ? Would your really need the back cover ?
$3500euro for a body is just insane, when you consider that the neck wood is 85% of your tone and the body wood is just the last bit of 'tint' to your tone.
