strings question

So...which strings do you use on your warwick bass? I'm trying to fatten my tone and that seems the cheapest way to do it. I'm currently using d'addario exl170...I like the fact they're smooth and cheap (lol) but they sound a bit 'weak'. Maybe dr fat beams would do it (it has fat in the name ehehe) what do you think?

Fat beams are my favorite. They'll definitely beef up your bass' sound.
I also use Rotosounds Swingbass - very nice piano-like sound.

I'm looking for a slightly more mellow top end for my Wicks and im going to try some Elixir Nanoweb strings. Lord knows what there like but ill give them a go! There supposed to last longer as well! Whatever the result ill post a review.

I just got them over a shop on eBay, quite cheap if you take in count the prices around here! Take a look

It's still cheaper than buying the strings here. I paid 31 € for them. At musicstore.com for example they cost around 40 €. And that's just one set, I can save more buying in quantity or maybe splitting the shipping with a friend.

No offense man but the dr fat beams cost 51 € (without shipping costs) there...I can wait a few more days for a 20 € difference! lol
