i've read every sticky that seth has posted and followed them to the T. BUT i'm still getting a click from the top 3 low strings when i fret a note. I play 2 Thumb NT5s. I tune A,C,G,C,F and A,D,G,C,F and play pretty hard. Due to this low tuning i am using .130 guage strings for the top 2 low strings. I do this for better string tension to try to get less of that click. Of course i can eq it out, but there goes my highs..so most of the time i end up living with it. The brigdes are standing up almost as high as they will go and the JAN II's are almost at their max height too. Honestly i'm still a little shaky on the whole truss rod adjustment. Any suggestions?

Hi,

your nut should be set up as low as possible, and check your intonation, between the 12th and 26th fret too. Can't explain It well in english but It's about the tension and vibration of the strings.

Hope this helps.

sounds to me like you need to loosen the truss rod to get more bow in the neck (your sounds like its too straigt)

i'd wait for seth to go into more detail (and probably tell me im totally wrong  ) about how to adjust the truss rod
