Streamer $$ vs Corvette $$

@ wazza: But does it growl anything like your Tiger SE $$? I still kick myself for not grabbing one of those when I had the chance... that thing is a beast! :twisted:

Yes, pretty much I was thinking about a Streamer LX with $$ pickups :-)
 
Thanks to all for the answers.

I also found the corvette $$ Ash no so growly - in fact less growly than Bad ASS equiped basses - but what a great slap sound ! Almost hollow, which is very nice with both pu.

Do you think that with an extra maple top I will get the strong growl of a Jazzman... and still a hollow slap sound ?
 
Don't forget that what is said on this forum should be considered a 'guide'; nothing is an absolute. Every player is evaluating things based on their unique situation... a pick player who uses nickel strings through a 100-watt 1x15 combo will often have a different opinion than a finger player who uses stainless steel strings through a 1200-watt 8x10 rig. Well, that's my two cents anyway.
