Here are some pics of my SS2 from some gigs during the past month...hope you like em!

Hopefully they don't come out too big...first time I post pics here.
 
thanks! The new pickups and preamp make it sound like a rabid dog! I also notice an increase in sustain/ringing in my open notes since installing the brass nut.
 
I'd love hear my Thumb with a brass nut.Everyone I know that's done it agrees it makes a difference.I'd like a brass JAN3 so I could swap between the 2 without glueing & re-glueing.But then the base wouldnt be brass too so what's the point eh.

i had to use a piece of my JAN2 as the base for the JAN1. Otherwise, the screws would have to be really high up and it wouldn't work well.

When I first put the JAN1, i had new strings, so I wasn't sure if the open sustain was teh strings or nut. After a few months, the strings have lost their brightness, but they still ring out loud. IMO, that's definitely the brass' work. Someday I'd like to remove the plastic shim and put a brass one, just like the really old pieces.
 
Very good pictures! Using almost the same configuration "bass-amp" of dirk lance "warwick-eden" (from what i see.. i'm not sure -eden-) earlier bassist of incubus! Which you must sound incredibly good! Enjoy! :D

you got it! except his rig was 10x the size of mine, as was his tone and skills. But that's part of the fun!

They are playing the single here also. They have 8 or so albums, but this is the first one getting radio play, at least here...
