Streamer Stage I

I would like to have your opinion about your experiance with a Stremaer stage I for those who got one. Every opinion about this bass is welcome.

i don't own one but in my own opinion its the best looking warwick ever, they're just gorgeous, that maple really does it for me, however if it sounds anything like my lx did im staying clear!

its definatly a bass i will buy in the near future although i will be checking out an early 90's model rather than a new one, come to think of it an 80's model would be even nicer.... :shock:

It's a great bass, even tough it doesn't sound tipically Warwick.
It's almost entirely made of Maple, so IMHO it lacks some midrange growl.
Very bright and lively.
I prefer older ones with more Wengé in the neck, both Cherry and Maple body versions.

are looking at 4, 5 or 6 string? I play a 4 string stage 1 and its amazing, the lighter wood is much more gig easy than a thumb and still produces god like tone. The EQ is incredible and gives the bass great veristility. They also are the prettiest of the warwick basses, esspeshally natural the flamed maple is stunning!

visually the Stage I is the sexiest basses out there!! really love all of the egonomic curves, makes it snug to play with!
In the distant future I will hopefully have a Stage I 5 string, does kinda excite audiences when you see something that beautiful being funked up!! :lol:

IMO the Infinity LTD is the sexiest, but I REALLY like the Streamer ST I.
