Any one seen this basses before??

Flame Maple body, Ovangkol neck, Gold Hardware.
Black Stain or Nirvana Black..
 
I've played the one in black stain at my local music store before. It felt really good and had a very nice tone. Sadly there was no price tag on it and a week later it was gone. It's a sweet bass!

WHAT! For a special edition LTD model? That's impossible! That's like 1050 €. That's less than what you'd pay for a new Streamer LX Standard. Those cost like 1300 €! Are you sure it's not 2nd hand (used)?

If it really only costs that much I'd buy it (Not right now though - I'm broke)!
 
No, Marcus is right, they have a couple at JAM in Stockholm
 
And I'm about to buy one..
Eventho I already have a Streamer Chrome 4 string in wonderful Black Chrome..

I'll give you some examples..

Used Warwick Corvette Standard Bubinga 6 string.
10000:- SKR
1060 EUR

Used Warwick Streamer Stage I 4string -93
13000:- SKR
1375 EUR

Used Warwick Streamer Jazzman 4 string
10500:- SKR
1110 EUR

These basses are on some swedish Sale sites.

In stores you have to have your eyes open to find something like this.

I've working on a trading deal with JAM in Stockholm..
Trading my G&L L-2000 + 200 EUR for a Streamer LX IV Special Edition bass..

I keep you updated...
 
I tried one of these basses a few months ago... I cost 10,000 Danish kroner (or $1600), which, considering the normal price of Streamers, is relatively low.
 
Well, the recommended price is 17.500 kronor / 1.840 euros / 2.225 US$ but I've seen these basses out on the web for a long time not being sold. They bought a bunch and these are the ones being left, only 4-stringed. It's not a Limited edition but a special edition so they are not signed etc. Nice basses though with smashing price tag.

I skipped the G&L trading since I bought that bass from Mala and it really Rocks.. (but still no Warwick rocking. :lol: )

I bought the Lower of the Two with the See thru Black stain finish..

I'll think I have it some time next week.. :D :D :P :P
 
Great! I think it's a bargain and the see through finish is really looking good. Happy you liked the G&L, it's not like a Warwick but different and the sound is great. I just came back with a Thumb 2001 Ltd, body in ovankol with a bubinga top, real sweat. I will just wax her up and then publish some shots here at the forum
 
Hello everyone! My first post here.

Congrats on the LX IV! I was over at JAM this saturday and spent a good hour trying out the remaining LX and i gotta say it was sweet!

However i passed on the opportunity of buying it and i just mailed the Custom Shop for pricing on a Corvette Standard 4 with Zebrano body and black hardware. Hope that won't cut my budget to shreds...

Jo det kändes mer lockande, jag kände mig lite skeptisk till den helsvarta finishen på LX'en (såg ditt ex hängades på väggen dock. huuur snygg som helst!). Vill gärna ha den härliga känslan av trä. och Zebrano + svart mekanik är bland det finaste jag sett.

Kan jag ställa dig en fråga ang custombeställningar i ett privat message kanske?

(Sorry all you non-swedish forum members!)

Great bass!
After changing the Strings to Elixir the bass really rock..
