Streamer Infinty cross breed!

went into my local dealer today to check up on my baby, and got some rather nice news. it will be here in the new year!! the day i get it, if i stop playing for 5 mins, i will post pics!!!
gonna be the baby of my stable! 8)

its a stage II 5 string fretless, with a blank fretboard, 3 band eq, gold hardware. with the double jazz pickup in the bridge position, and jazz in neck position. coil tap/switching system for bridge pickup. should be a beauty

Sounds great! Are you goingto stick with the afzelia wood or choose something different?

You could also describe it as a Streamer FNA Jazzman - with a TJ instead of a MM at the bridge... with an afzelia body... am I right?

I'm interested in how these custom basses look and sound... picking your own wood, electronics and pick-up combination seems the way to go... so many choices though!

I've decided that I don't want an all too flashy bass. I'm keeping it simple: Warwick Thumb NT 5 CS Fretless with an Ovangkol body and matching headstock. It's gonna look awesome.

A friend of mine has a Custom Thumb NT 5 with an Ovangkol body. Does look very nice indeed.

The Jazzman wouldn't be neck thru then.

I'm just curious... why Ovangkol. Is it the look or the tone? I must admit, the Ovangkol on my new BO has a great grain now it's all waxed up... but I also like the look of the Bubinga Pommele on the NT.

... And Vinman... yeh, forgot about the neck-through... that would make quite a difference!
