some new beauties from the warwick custom shop

Really nice basses! I really dig the Iroquai. Can't wait to hold the custom I ordered a couple of weeks ago in my hands. Hope it will be there soon!
 
Interesting on how they are the same, yet different. But both big fans of Stuart. I wonder if the world having another would flatter or annoy him?
 
If I were Stuart, it would be a honour that people would like to have a similar bass like mine.

But I´m not him. Maybe he´s still angry because the original Iroquai was stolen, and now some "freaks" are copying his design. :D



PS. Just to get this clear: I don´t want to offend anyone when using the word "freak". I wrote that sentence imagining what an angry Stuart would think about the CS copies of his original Iroquai bass. ;)

The pictures are not the same. The right one is photoshopped. Ifyou look, the hardware is the same, still the color is different. So the color on the body is different too, because of the picture, the basses are probably pretty similar.

BTW, the pic of that Iroquai bass is getting many hate comments on Facebook. My "favorite": "...Next time Stuart wants a bass like that send him over to ibanez." ¬¬
 
is it me or does the iroquai has a other/bolt on body shape?!
not to be the first neckthru custom shop with a bolt on design...
 
not sure about the different shape, they are cvertainly photographed at different angles

No Florin has nothing to do with this.
OK it's obvious that I took some inspiration from the P Nut II :d which is IMHO one the most beautiful WW ever made, but what I wanted was the 90's tone (Dirk Lance, Pnut, etc...) so I decided to ask for a wengé/afzelia neck (which is not standard, currently the SS II's have the ovangkol neck like thumbs) because I am one of those who think that the neck woods strongly affects the tone of the bass. Isn't this neck beautiful ? The afzelia stripes make me think of race stripes and add a lot of personality to this Streamer !

However I have bad news concerning this bass, I wanted to post pics and even sound clips but unfortunalely there's been an issue :( during transport (nothing worrying, just a small ding but some satin lacquer has been removed). I will probably take it to a guitar tech in the next coming days to have this ***** ding repaired !
 
The old SS2 whetre built this way , naming wenge/afzelia , congrats on your new axe
 
If it sounds anything like my wenge-necked SSII, you're going to love it.
 
I love that SSII of yours. I shall do a CS SSII at some point. I'd love a wild look as long as it maintains the SSII sound.
