some help please!

Yeah, I played my thumb (which I personally shielded with copper tape) on my computer speakers and it hissed like an angry snake. Now I have it plugged into my Profet 5.1 (used) and Nemesis 210 cab (new) and it is as quiet as a mouse (until I play it that is 
). Definetely plug into another amp/setup. Try taking it to your local guitar shop and plug it into a new amp and see if the problem remains. If so, then maybe talk to the guys behind the counter for advice. Most certanly make sure anyone who 'works' on your bass knows what they are doing. Good luck!8:

thanx guys for all the advice..really appreciate it! i gonna wait for my line 6 to get here but until then i have nothing to play on...and the really nasty part is that there are no music instrument stores here!
