slapping on a 5-string thumb BO

hey whats up?
i didn't find any topic that would help me out, sorry if we had that topic already.

as you maybe know i bought a Thumb BO5. Hell of an instrument i tell ya!
anyways, since its a 5-string bass and im used to 4-string basses its much harder for me to slap since i am used to a wider string spacing(the funny thing is that since i play on a 5-string my slapping on the corvette improved a little bit ). could you maybe tell me some exercises/tricks to get more precise with the slapping on a 5 string? that'd be really awesome! thanks

I'm definitely not the most experienced and skilled bass player. Fact is, over time I got tired spending 2-3 tunes finding the right finger placement when I moved back and forth from a 4-string or from my TRB6 (19,x mm SS) to a 5-string with a smaller SS. I went for the Thumb BO5 FL with Broadneck Option and I'm very happy I've made this choice. I plan to replace the other two 5-string fretted basses I own with a Streamer LX5 BN.

I found that playing around with double thumping improved my accuracy quite a bit. Also "speed" slapping octaves helps alot. And then the good ol slapping scales...
