Hi everyone

We're doing the first of a series of jam sessions at Warwick HQ here in NYC.

First one is this Monday Feb 15, 2010. Flyer is below... hope to see you out there:

Sounds amazing, shame i'm not in the US or more importantly NY would love to attend!
 
Wow lex i wish i could be there mate.. Randy Coven's name is on the flyer..does that mean he is now playing Warwick or is he just 'special guest'?

Awesome mate...very jealous right now...So what was it like? Would have been great to see Lex and Randy Coven in action!!
 
No Golem sighting but it was good to see Lex again and meet Noodles. (Noodles, I heard your unplugged slappin. You should've played!)

I was a little nervous to play after seeing Lex and Randy Coven do their thing. Besides, I have no musical training whatsoever. If someone calls out a key I'd just stand there like "What!?"

I have to admit that I really wanted to lay something down with Swiss Chris on drums. That dude is sick!

Lol, me too! That's why I didn't play. Even after, when I tried out the Peanut bass, I couldn't relax even though Lex and Chris are so down to earth cool and offer nothing but encouragement. I got Chris's info and hopefully we can get together soon. Matter of fact, I'm gonna make sure we get together even if I have to pay for the drum lesson!
I wish the videos I shot had better audio because like you said, Chris is siiiiick! Too bad it was so loud in that small space.

Thanks for coming out!!

Definitely worth the cost of a lesson to jam with Swiss Chris. He is a monster player and very humble guy, even though he's toured with some of the biggest (John Legend and Kanye West for example). He is a great spirit and I love him like a brother; he will teach you a LOT about music and life in general.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed the first jam session. We will be doing more sessions; at this stage it looks like we will do the 1st Monday of the month. If you have any suggestions we're open to them!

I'm sorry about the volume level; I had my earplugs in (and for good reason)... maybe next time we'll look at using an electronic kit or something?
