Rockbass Vette ELECTRONICS PROBLEM ***HELP***

I'm having some issues with my rockbass 4 string vette standard. I have the 06 model with the ground wire issue which has been fixed but now....The bass and treble controls are acting up.

When the bass and treble are center...a lot of static.
If I turn up the turn the treble above center position...bass cuts out completely.
I either have to turn the bass to the max and treble all the way down or trun the treble all the way up and the bass all the way down.

Do I just have bumm electronics or can this be fixed?

dont know, im not really that much of an electronics master, so all i can really say is take it in for a professional inspection at your local music store. it might just be a wire coming loose or the whole thing could be stuffed. good luck mate.
