hey there guys, your not going to believe this but I finally received my Rockbass Classic yesterday. However I was so sick that all I could do was open it up, visually check it out, make sure all was there and closed it back up and had to go lay back down in bed :( Anyhow tonight will be the test drive and out of curiousity, because the only paper work I saw was the warranty sheet and a glossy covered booklet that looked like it was a Warwick brochure for amps and guitars I tyhought there would be a Manual included.(It is Brand New)
Is there anyway I could get a link for the "Manual" which might have setup or adjustment instructions or whatever else I may need.
I was waiting for this shipment for so long but the way I felt, SO SICK yesterday I was disappointed I couldnt even manage five minutes of foolery.

There were allen keys, strap locks ect included but if there is a manual I would like to be able to print it out or atleast look at it.

I didnt get the gig bag but a nice used Yamaha hardshell case, it doesnt exactly fit the bass great but this wont be in storage much :)

Ok after playing my new acquisition for not even half an hour I AM TOTALLY HAPPY about my purchase. I could not have expected a better bass for the price paid. Playability, great action...I cant wait 'till the strings are really broken in.
Now I really have GAS...I think I am in love with the Streamer $$, supposed I have to nickle and dime it away.
Amplification also has to go...I found when tuned deep and mellow my combo amp speaker really starts to flutter out. Nice and Low!
By the way guys...no help on any kind of manual or the like for this guitar?

I looked around in the forum but as far as Ifound out there´s no real Rockbass manual. For some things you can use the original W manual:

I got both of my RockBasses used, but evidently that doesn't make much difference. For controls on the Corvette it seems to be: master volume; pickup blend; treble; bass. Thankfully the controls on the Fortress are the same on the 'real' Warwick and the RockBass, so I was able to work it out that way. As far as adjustments to the bridge. Sorry, no instructions, but check out Seth's threads about intonation and such. That should do the trick.

the 'classic' burst finsh looks really killer. if i were to get a RB corvette that'll be the model i want. too bad i'm already in love with my real Warwick corvette. ;)

good on you for you purchase dude. i'm happy for you. i'm placing an order for a fretless RB fortress myself. haha
 
They are great basses... I had one. It had to go, though, to help pay for my Thumb!

I like the Corvette RB, but the Fortress is another animal completely. Much fatter sound with a heavier deep undertone. I have the 5 stringer so the pups and electronics are essentially the same as the Vette. The wood is the obvious difference, it's also a lot thicker than the Vette, so a lot heavier. I love the tone of the Fortress a lot more, but the Vette is a nice, light, easy bass to jam arond with.

Absolutely Bro. I bought the Corvette primarily to rebody it (as a Buzzard) and still might. It's fun to play but the Fortress is on a par with my Rickenbacker and Music Man. It is that good. The Corvette is closer to Epiphone standards. A little nicer, but the Fortress will eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I'm not sure about the rebody, I might keep my eye open for a used Streamer for that project.
