Can anyone tell me what the size is for the soapbar MEC pickups in a Streamer LX 6 wideneck bass? Are they larger than average size due to the wider string spacing or will most 6 string soapbar style pickups work?
I am toying with the idea of swapping the pickups out in my 'wick for a third party product in the interest of going passive. I rarely use the onboard preamp (usually use an outboard instead) and I'd rather not fuss with active onboard pickups/electronics/batteries/etc.
