Question about changing pickups.

Hello everyone! I'm new here. Just joined few minutes ago. Anyway, here's my question. I just bought an active 5 string Warwick Corvette Standard and I'm planning to change the pickups to Bartolinis. Should I change the preamps to Barts too? or can I leave the Mec pres and just change the pickups?

Hi - welcome to the forum!



You certainly can just change the pickups - that will work great, and sound very nice with Barts. Try that out first, and then if you want to change the preamp out later on, you can do that afterwards.
