Profet 5.1 + 411 Pro

i've got almost the same, I have the 410 instead of 411 cab. I've found the amp to be a really nice one, but it is very quiet with only one cab, the volume increase is significant when you add the second. Seems to prefer the 4ohm loading a lot. I'd say go for it if you intend to add a second cab down the line.

i got the profet 5.1 and the 411 pro, i found it to have a nice low range but no volume, i just bought a 1x15" 8 ohm cab to go with it and im real pleased with it!!!

I'm buying a Pro-Fet 5.1 & a 411 pro cab in 4 ohms next week.I roadtested every Warwick head last week & liked them all,especially the Tube-Path,one of the best sounding amps I have ever used,& I've used alot of amps.

If u have a profet 5.1 goin throught a WCA 411 at 4 ohms I know u get the full power right?.........so what would happen if u added another cab...say the WCA 115 at 8ohms......would there been any differance???????

Well...the formula looks like that: 1/4+1/8=1/x, so x=2.66 ohm, where x is your output impedance. So, at a lower impedance you will stress a lot more the final transistor of your amp, and it can burn anytime. You might like the sound until then, it will be louder for shure... :twisted:

yeah...it will be LOUD until it blows up after 10 minutes. the profet (as will all other warwick amps) are designed to work with a minimum load of 4 ohms (edited :wink: )

it will surely have a good sound with all warwicks - they're designed to each other. And also it will be very loud i think (a strong amp and high sensitivity cabinet makes a good pair)
+3db in sensitivity means that half the power is required for the same volume!

Simply ... YES!!!

I use tubepath 10.1 and I've played yesterday on a stadium. With two 411 pro, at half of the volume it was much too loud. 9 o clock is the maximum I can really use with this rig.
But again, I want you to be well informed here, don't expect high end quality and huge loudness from an entry level amplifier.
It's just the best in it's class...

It's hard to tell what sound will you get, it's the best if you experience it by yourself. With a 4x10, the lows won't be boomy(but they will be there in the sound because the cabinet is very deep) and also the notes will be clear because of the tweeter.
If you can't try the 411pro, try a 211pro, but not the 410, because that has weaker woofers and no has horn

edit: there are millions of tones for the profet 5.1, it can be punchy, agressive, reggae, as you want. The contour is also very good it can create lows and skull-shattering highs
