Profet 3.2 question. (maybe a probelm...)

Hi there!

I am the proud owner of a Profet 5.1 and a 3.2, wich I purchased yesterday....

The thing is: when I power up the 3.2 the fan doesn't show any activity like the 5.1. Even when I keep playing for a while. It is only supposed to start when the unit over heats? The one in the 5.1 is always spinning (at a low rate, altough) and only increases the activity when is something wrong (too much heat).
 
Both amps should do what the 5.1 is doing.If the 3.2's fan doesnt move,take it back while it's under warranty.
 
I don't know... i own a 3.2 too, and the fan it's not spinning. Now. In hot days it was working so I guess this is normal, it will start when the unit will heat enough.
 
Anyone else?

Please come here and share some knowledge... If I must take back the 3.2 I'll be without it for about two months... And I need it for my gigs.
 
Now this is official:
The fan it's not moving just when it's needed. So... if the unit it's not overheated, the fan will be off. This is for Pro Fet 3,2
 
Depends also on what cabs you are using. I you use an 8 ohm cab the amp will deliver about 180 w and it will not heat up too much. If you run a 4 ohm cab the amp will deliver 300 w and get warmer and the fan will eventually spinn .... if needed.
