ok i have a choice to make and im looking for some feedback and you all seem nice so ill give it a shoot.
this year i dropped out of school because on my last day of my old school a close friend pasted away. So i moved away from there as far as i could and tried to start over. i went back to school and i couldn't deal with it so im working full time. but i was with this girl and i had been for 3 years we weren't together at that point but i love her and she feels the same. (it was a boarding school by the way so im not used to living with my mum and dad)
so im left with a choice do i stay at home with a family i don't know or do i move out and live with her.

sorry about my spelling
thank you for your feedback

15 yes

i am 15 but ive never lived at home before and i don't like it so is there any real point in been here

Comparing boarding school to living on your own is a huge stretch mate.Is it even legal for you to shack up with a girl.Sorry to be down on all of this mate but i seriously think you need to talk to a child psychologist before you embark on things that have the potential to change your life permanently for the worse.Trust me on this, standing on your own 2 feet in life is a constant battle, one that a bloke of your age doesnt need.Stay at school & have some fun mate,it wont last.

id stay at home dude, atleast till you are 18 or sumthing, and having a fulltime job at 15 your pay wouldnt be to great would it?????

I do not know anything about your family, but:

- Family is gold. It's never too late to get to know them. They will always be your family. A girlfriend often becomes an ex-girlfriend...........
- have someone to talk to. Someone you can trust. Counceling, or indeed a (child) psychologist as Greg has mentioned.

It's really good you came here to ask for an objective opinion, but you need much much more than just some advise. I truly believe you need someone (an adult) you can talk to for a couple of hours a week or so........In any case, I also believe that no matter how much you love her, and she loves you, living together seems to me like the wrong decision.

God bless you.

Mate, in your life you'll have much bigger problems than one of your buddies disappearing from your life.

If you want to be a grown up, then you must learn to deal with your problems like one.

There is a time for everything, now it is the time for school, and family. This time will never come back. Never!

I don't want to sound like a boring old bastard, but at your age people do very stupid things, I know I did... I had a school mate he did suicide because he scratched his father's car. Other one did the same thing because he took a bad calificative at school. Now that's stupid! But they are not alive now to live all their life with their mistakes, so... in a way they are lucky. In a way, quitting school is a bigger mistake mate!

You should be aware that your body is changing very fast now, you are changing from a boy to a man. Te hormones explode in you to make you change, and this is a really hard aggression. You should be aware that very often, this is too much, and very often you cannot think clear. You should be aware of that!!!! It will be over soon, at 17-18 you'll be a completely different person than you are now.

Please excuse me being boring... Stay home mate, let your family take care of you, and have fun! Go to school, this is VERY important. Study bass, be a great bassist. Now you can do it as your family supports you. You'll never have this oportunity back!
God bless you buddy!!!!

I once dated a girl like that myself... She wanted to rush everything pretty much and I told her to have some patience... She basicly did the same things your's did. And the rest was history.

If theyre not willing to wait, Forget about them.

ey man ... it takes a lot of work and it would feel like hell at times... but if you can achieve the goal of living with your mom and dad again... understanding them ... and loving them despite all the anger an frustration you feel for them, then thats the time you are ready to MOVE OUT of the house.

if you cant do that but still insist on living alone ... then you will be a drifter ... unable to form permanent relationships, and possibly would attract people who themselves have a hard time with relationships...

10 years ago, i never thought id say what im saying now, i am currently 27, and i appeared as a guest on some "satanic point of view" thing on national TV ... and i said negative things about my family then... but i have learned my lesson and have long since made amends.

sometimes i see guys my age who never really learned their lesson and instead, held on to their beliefs back when they were still 18 ... i pray you will not be like that.

and yes... gfs are temporary ... they might seem permanent, but trust me ... emotions are very fleeting, unlike the bond you have with your family.

The only piece of advice I would give you would be to complete your education, one way or another.

I study economics, and one of my major research assignments was to do with the correlation between education and income, and it's actually so clear-cut that it frightens me!

I'm not suggesting that it's impossible to have a happy and fulfilled life, without money, nor am I suggesting that it's impossible to make money without formal education...I'm just talking in averages.

On average, financially secure people tend to be happier, and more educated people tend to achieve financial security far more often.

well dont worry mate, if she loved you so much, she would of waited, i hope those words didnt hurt to much but its the honest truth.
youl meet the right lady one day mate

Dude, moving on your own is tough anyway. I can't understand how it's like. But I've shopped for groceries a few times. Scares me how much it can cost just for stuff you need. I'm sure a lot of people here know more about it than me, but I'm also sure they don't think it's so big a deal, probably having shopped for grocieries for years. I'm 15 to, and I know I wouldn't move away from my parents for atleast a few years. Enjoy the safety and help of parents. And, having to use money on grocieries, when your income probably isn't to high. Wouldn't leave much for hobbies and fun, would it? (Warwick! :) )

you forgot!

financially secure ppl tend to have more money to spend on warwick basses

i'd say public school man. people are cooler, usually, and you can be around your parents...

I`m sorry to hear about your misfortunes in life, but there are still plenty of time to get things in order. Don`t rush it, and be curious about what you want to become. Seek input for your mind, education, libraries, get things in perspective. You`re only 15, so you are supposed to do some stupid things that you`ll learn from.

I don`t know what issues you might have with your parents, but sometimes it helps to let them know what your situtation is and what you want to achieve.
And if you have a situtation where you cannot speak to your parents, or they dont pay attention to you, seek out an adult you feel you can trust or a councelor.

And do not underestimate your abilities. You're 15, and you already teach bass.....................Wow, now I feel like a bass n00b.........

Don't rush things mate. One thing I've learned with the past years was that your parents are the only ones who really care about you, even when it seems that all they say is no good an they don't understand.
Guess what? they really understand but when we're young we seem to be always the king of the mountain and always know what's the best for us, I'm talking about my own experience, cause I used to be like that and seriously I'm ashamed and not proud of it.

I got my point of view changed when my mom passed away, then I realize how much her words made sense and I never cared. Little after that my dad met some other person and also left, but what the hell I had a girl that I loved so all was right, until she stop caring about us and no matter what I'd say or do the thing got to an end.
Lattely fell in love with a girl that simply don't care about me, she don't even take the time to look at me.
Now I'm 23 and find myself completly alone and feel the biggest sadness I've ever felt, now all I wish is that I still have my parents here, it's really sad but it's true.

All this is only to show you that give your parents a chance cause one day they'll not be around and you'll miss them and you'll miss all those "lessons" they give.
Also like it was said, love is a complicated thing and it seems that it can vanish away quickly and you can't even control it.
