i already have a corvette (bubinga). those are pretty heavy. forget not, i play upright too. try lugging that things around!

You want a katana?

Go with the Katana...

Anything else is second choice...

katana for you. If it's what you want, it's what it has to be. I've played a 4 stringer and it was really quite comfortable to play. You can caress the buttocks of it between songs... :D

Yep,

and if you add the recessed strap locks, it will also have a butthole..........hahahah.

I'll go with the CS Katana, as we don't see enough of them here... CS or otherwise! Just post the pics!

You see... I have a thing for Custom Shop basses. So I think the Katana is my choice in this case.

Yeah dude, if your dream bass in within your budget you'd be making a mistake to settle for anything else.

I've been dying for a CS streamer for years now, but between the exchange rates and my tuition fee's its next to impossible!

Gotta go with Drexil on this one. As long as I've been fiending for a SS2, I'd grab it if I could :( Get your dream bass while it's possible.

no money now, btw. just trying to figure what i need to save up for. i figure about 3,190 euros for the katana. i could drop the matching headstock. :D

I'd also say go with your gut, but make sure it's not just an impulse.

Personally I might have gone with the fretless, for an even wider range of tones :)

Its impulse buying 99% of the time for most people - Especially if you already have a Warwick hehe

Hey tkdboy17,

Think of this future bass as a tool in your sonic toolbox. What tool do you need the most right now at this point in time? Weigh that against the "cool factor", then decide what is more important. Just enjoy the whole process and best of luck to you. Oh yeah, and don't forget the obligatory photos of the one you eventually decide on. :D

I played a NT Katana for the first time yesterday and now I am in love. This thing felt great. the only changes i owuld prefer is Bart PUPS, and the Nirvana black stain. That just sounds awesome to me.

for those of you who haven't seen it (its not built yet, its a mockup.)

is there a way to get red inlays besides for getting LEDs?
