New tubes for my TubePath

The smoke effect of course how could I forget that, now the thing is becoming a real temptation ahahahahhaha
Maybe 3 wicks will became orphans... just kidding, just kidding!

So I placed the order for the new JJ tubes, so wednesday or thursday my Tubepath will get some new sweet n warm tubes eheh

well I will let time decide what to do ahahahah
Are interested in the adoption of one little wick orphan? :P

Ordered some JJs today! Been getting too much, and with the power tube on... I get even more and occasionally a good old crackle and fuzz...

Just got my new tubes :D tonight I'll change the old ones :D

So I've already change the old tubes for the new JJ's and give my tubepath a major cleaning.
And I must say thank you Florin for the tip about the JJ's this tubes make the tubepath sound even more amazing, a very nice warm sound, very round, now I love my Tubepath even more ehehe

I know, I know... To bad people don't know how really good are tubepath amps...

Another vote here for the JJs... Sounds truly beautiful! Especially with the 2nd stage on :)

Well, I read this thread late last night and ended up ordering a set of JJ's from Watford Valves.

The Tubepath sounds incredible as it is, but if there's a chance it can be improved even more...!

Like Florin says.. Tubepaths are really underrated. My 10.1 is up there with the Mesa MPulse stuff IMO, in both sound and construction. It's a shame people aren't really aware that there's a Warwick head out there that does 'old-school'.

Here's a photo from a big gig I did recently in my hometown... if you look carefully you can see the 'W' glowing near the floor to the right of me...

It sounded GREAT. :P

I'll let you all know how I get on with the new tubes when they arrive...

That look neat!! I wish more brands did like Warwick and Hughes&Kettner, and involved lighting inside their amps.

It`s just the Tubepath that glows, right?

Tubepaths are really really overratted, it's a shame that most of bass players go after the known brands, like ampeg , SWR or Mesa just because the name.
If you told me "well the Ampeg sound is my kind of sound" ok I'll accept it with no problem, it's a matter of personal taste but most of the time I only hear, " Warwick suck, Ampeg it's the deal because it's known worldwide", I found this to be the most stupid reason to compare gear :S

I love my Tubepath to death even I can affort a more expensive amp I wouldn't change it, well I would like to try the amazing Hellborg system
For me it's the best match I can have, warwick basses and warwick amps& cabs , Full Warwick power ehehehehe

ups my big big bad ahahah
I mean to say underated, sorry sorry

Mate thats a great picture & light show. I only have one problem..... Is that a banjo the bloke in the middle has & does he have all his teeth??

Also, how come your head is on the floor?? I think your whole rig should be in front of the banjo player!!! Only kidding. I cant talk, I play country music!!

Cheers

Rusty

It is a banjo... don't tell everyone though.

My amp was on the floor because the backline was under the second level of the stage and it was just too tall to sit on my cab... it was a bugger bending over to tweak it.
