New Problem!! streamer jazz vs vette jazz

hi, i made a thread earlier for which bass to go for the old school streamer or the new vette fna jazz. well the streamer was boght by some other guy while i was at work! so now i have a choice between a streamer jazzman and the vette jazz.. now apart from the basic difference in look is there actually a lot of difference in sound?? cos from what i can see they use the same pickup config!
any help would be appriciated!!
 
Go with the streamers, it'll be more comfortable and look better, with a bigger Maple cap (1") instead of a 5mm, like on the Corvette.
 
indeed well, i think i much preffer the look of the streamer as well. and i have previously owned a vetteso it will be a refreshing change.

Errr, it's actually 3/8 of an inch, that should make the Corvette FNA cap 1cm thick. (9.525mm to be precise)

The difference lies in the ergonomics, but there is a very little sonic difference, if any.
 
The main difference is ergonomics and the way the instrument is played, the streamer jazzman actually has a Streamer LX body with the Jazzman pickup configuration and electronics. I personally prefer the Streamer mainly because I like the looks of it a lot better and because of the way it suits the way I'm built as human being.
 
personally i would go with the 'vette.
i've just sold my streamer lx & bought a corvette & i think is plays a lot better than the streamer ever did + i find it more comfortable to play.
but there again i am wierd :shock:
 
Have a play on both of them mate. You need to know whats best for you! I have an FNA Corvette but that doesnt mean its going to be right for you!
 
Comfort

There both great basses. I'd go for comfort and your style of play...
 
Buy both!!! Just joking, both are great basses, I own a couple of Vettes so I would go for the Streamer, however, neither of them will make you look bad / mats
