New option...

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that now we have the option of using a different wood for the headstock than the one on the top of your bass. The price for this option will be kept the same as adding the matching headstock on a CS bass.

So you can add a non-matching custom headstock?

so you now can have a bass whose drapes don't match the carpet?

wow...you could get some truly hideous things happening. I think either black or matching is the way to go. I don't think I could think of a tasteful way of having it otherwise.

Maybe a veneer of the fretboards wood could work or the neck material...

Neck material is good... think about it: Corvette NT, bubigna body, maple neck, maple head...

that would work...

maple fretboard while we're at it?

I dunno maybe matching some stained woods body woods with some other ones could give the bass a nice look, i was thinking green stain with purple heart headstock or something. More options are always good :D

+1, options are the way to go...

I can't remember exactly... but the matching headstock on my custom Vampyre is well expensive because they need to make the headstock a quilt maple top to match the colour. Expensive... but it's going to be so beautiful :)

As long as it's a Warwick and sounds good... I'll take it! :)

I love the matching headstock on my Streamer:

i think it would be great is warwick gave the option of not having the standard black composite vaneer and just had the neck wood showing...

I think a great option would be having your name on the trussrod cover instead of an inlay on the fingerboard. This would mean that all current owners could get it, and it would be easier to sell a bass because who wants one with someone else's name on it?!
Plus it would make it seem as if we all have signature Warwicks! :D

Is it possible to have this ?

AA Flamed Maple Body in Ocean Blue
Flamed Maple fingerboard
Natural Flamed Maple headstock ?

I don't mean to sound smart but i am more after options that affect either playing feel or sound.
A little time ago i made a post asking about fret size option, which if anything, does make a difference in playing feel. I got no response.
Of course a like my bass to look beatiful as everybody else.
Anyway, the more options the better. :)

Man, I've already wondered thousand times which wood to choose in order to have a good sounding bass. Now I'm just working out to make these woods look good.
