So I just snagged myself a 93 Streamer! Will be picking it up in a couple hours after it's set up, and then I'm a pluckin' & grinnin' fool!!! It has the recessed strap locks, P/J pickups, bolt on maple neck. I'm not sure what the fretboard is exactly, nor the body wood, but I'm not in a position to be picky for only $500. It doesn't have a truss rod cover, and I was wondering if it's possible to order a replacement..??...

Grats man. Post some pics when you can so we can see this Streamer!

Hello. Yes, you should be able to order a replacement. Since you are in California you should get in no time.

Contact your local dealer or [email protected]

Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

Sorry for the crap quality of pix. My camera is severely outdated. Here's both my Warwicks. Just got the streamer a couple hours ago.

Serial #

The neck is 3 pieces of maple, and two strips of the darkwood which I haven't identified. Notice the subtle flame on the outer maple pieces.

I can't get enough of these basses!!!

Looks like Maple and Purpleheart (Amaranth) stringers.

Yepp, looks like. Congrats to a great bass and to a great price :D

Nice basses!
I'm from SB! Cool.... Warwick used to share a space with Seymour Duncan out in Goleta in the 90's.
Is that a Satin Chrome bridge and knobs on the Streamer?

As for the wood... I'm going to go with Afzelia, or Bubinga .vs the Purpleheart.

Heh....I actually watched this bass sit in the music store for months on end before I sold my Ibanez to raise funds. I had no idea it was a 93 until a few weeks ago. The shop also had a 4 string Dolphin for only $700, but someone snagged it before I could. Gotta love things on consignment!!!
