Now we have two series: made in Germany or handcrafted in Germany.

Or how others already said: the korean Germans and the german Germans...

Made in Germany is legally wrong btw!!

If the parts would have been made in China and the instrument would have been assembled in Germany
MIG would be legally correct:-)

the same madness that calls a color stain satin finish - colored oil finish:-)

yeah let's bash them :-))

Handcrafted means everything that is not made by CNC is made by hand:-)

Hey man, those CNC machines are operated and programmed by hand! :P

But in all seriousness, it appears only the Corvettes apply here. I guess that whole Korean artist line is done - no more blue NT Trujillo....

Dammit! So long Warwick, and thanks for all the fish.

NO, NO, NO, NO!!!!

You got it all wrong :-)

"German Pro Series"

is an economical and more efficient production with our Standard Parts

=> same Necks, standard Frett Work
=> standard wood, 2 or 3 pcs. lamination
=> regular satin or highpolish coating

and not made in our Custom Workshop

without

=> our special frettwork
=> our high end selected 5 to 20 years old wood
=> UV waterbased coating
=> Brass Bridge Parts

So for short, Warwick Made in Germany is supposed to be the exact same instrument as Warwick 2007, but of course with some upgrades we did in time like bushings, etc.

So every year we did better and better, so the basses became more an more expensive. Now we offer you same basses as in let's say 2007, more affordable than the real High End Warwicks we made today.

Yes, I assume without, very interesting stuff.

EDIT: So WGPS is over?

EDIT EDIT: I misread the site - it appears that WGPS is finished, and all those basses are completely made in Germany, just using the 2000s production line techniques and parts.

TRIPLE EDIT: It appears that the WGPS/PS photos and specs are just copied and pasted - are all models available with the Corvette's satin finish?

WGPS --> same quality and parts as German 2007 basses (Ovangkol Necks, cast bridge, ....) with minor changes
Body and neck made in Germany but assembled and finished in China

German --> Custom Shop - all the upgrades that happend after 2007 (Wenge Neck, Brass Bridget, UV etc)
Body and neck made in Germany AND assembled and finished in Germany
