whats up with the new forum look. I have a 2 1/2 inch margin on each side of it and alot of stuff is on top of each other!!!:?::?:
 
yep, i don't like it too much either. but it's a matter of getting used to i guess.
 
I'm feeling a little lost myself. I don't have any margin issues, however there is overlap in several places. I guess things have not been cleaned up yet...
 
but the home page is not like this!!! it uses my whole screen..
 
yeah I guess you could be right, they may have to work out the problems
 
And we are working on them, don't worry. In the end we will be fine, but, baby steps :)
 
At the bottom of the main page, select "Warwick Fluid" instead of "Warwick fixed". It's gonna remove the margins on each side.

I just checked and it is already on fluid.... but they must be working on it as we speak cuz my margins just when down in size from the 2 1/2 inch to about a 1 inch margin....cool

At the bottom of every page actually :-)
Only the front page you change it in a different way.
 
I am having no margin issues and no overlap issues what so ever. I really like this new forum. Nice job guys!

+1 I had the super thin overlapped problem too, but I didn't know I could switch the layout to "Fluid". Now it's perfect!

me too. It runs perfectly on fluid mode. There is some familiarizing to do, but i consider this will prove to be a nice engine.
 
I love the huge ass quick reply bar at the bottom. Good job on the new forum everyone!!
 
Yeah I quite like that too,but I'm not mad about how each thread ends half way down the screen.I'm used to scrolling all the way to the bottom to find the last posts.It's no biggie,I quite like the new forum.We'll get used to it soon enough,just like we got used to the last format.
btw,I wanna know what,GCBOS stands for.It's at the top of the chat window.
It's a shame the chat window doesnt have the smilies & colour choices too.It looks real old school.
 
It's the same software, new version (4), so there should be no problems adjusting. I guess it's a little intimidating at first, but you all know the power of habit. I like how the "fixed" layout is narrow and i don't have to look like i am watching a table tennis match everytime I read a post. I just loved the previous forum but I have a feeling I will like this just as much, if not even more... Thanks for the effort you are putting into it guys!

P.S. If only we had a black on white colour scheme as well, that would be heavenly. :)
