I think I'll buy a Fretted Corvette CS to go alongside my fretted Corvette STD, and then a Fretless Corvette CS to go alongside my fretless Corvette STD.

This is speaking over the next two years I reckon.

Perfect fretless is your last CS Corvette with ebony ramp going all the way to the bridge pick up and piezzo in it!!!!!
 
the corvette std fretless 4 passive is what I shelled money out for... omg it's lovely... I thought about a fretted, but.. i unno. I think the fretless would get jealous ;)
 
I'd have gone for a walnut bod, maple neck + ebony FB, NT design. Active pups. Vol/Vol Tone/tone thing + peizo. Jazz man pups config.

But hey congrats on your bubinga corvette! they are damn fine basses!!
 
There's a Zebra Vetter Double buck in the CS gallery that would sound fantastic as a fretless!

Ovangkol neck, wenge board, of course. :)

Check out the Flamin' Blonde.It's neck is wenge & yellow heart.It looks alot like purple heart,but yellow.
