New bass Order From Canada

I have just ordered a new Corvette $$ NT from Canada and was wondering how long it will take before I get it. It was ordered through the registered dealer in Quebec that did not have any in stock. They mentioned that they would have to order it from Germany and would take up to 90 days before they receive it. I really can not wait until I can actually have it in my arms and play it for the first time. If you can provide me with any insight as to how long I would have to wait, it would be great.

Hi,welcome & congratulations on buying one hell of a great bass.Unfortunatly,nobody here can tell you when to expect your bass to be delivered.Keep in touch with your dealer,they'll keep you posted.

It will probably come sooner, but not sooner than 6 weeks I guess...
 
I guess the time frame would depend if it is a Custom Shop (CS) or a standard instrument.
 
Thank for welcoming me and the information. I will definitely keep in touch with dealer and see. The corvette is a 5 string and just standard, no custom for me. Man i hope i get it soon.

if you go through a dealer in the US they can get it to you within 1 week most of the time if they do not have it in stock. have you ordered and paid for it yet?
 
No I didn't pay yet. I guess I will finalize the buy once i have my Corvette in by arms.
 
Ya I did. The price was fair compared to the other i found on the internet. Even the ones I found in the UK converting them to CND. I would rather buy one that comes from Germany then one that was just hanging around for God know how long; you know what i mean being shipped. I could have haggled a bit with the hanging basses but I want a virgin.
 
We have a US dealer right here with loads of Corvette $$'s.One in each colour iirc.
His username is Rocketmusic & his name is Greg,so ya know he's cool. :wink:
