Hello everyone, i bought today a new Warwick and i have a problem regarding truss rod.
Here's a picture:

The warwick tool (and any other tool for that matter) won't fit because in the middle there's this piece of metal that is coming out, and i don't know what's that because on my old and used corvette it wasn't there.
Another pic to help understanding my problem:

The red circle is the metal thing that is preventing me from adjusting the truss.
I'm sorry, I'm doing my best to express the problem but it ain't easy <.<
The bass is new so nobody should have touched anything under the truss cover.

Definatly return the bass to the dealer for warranty.
& welcome aboard Ale.

That's bad.
Actually, using a normal 5mm allen key i managed to move the truss, even tho it's still quite difficult because there isn't much space at all. With the warwick tool is completely impossible.
I'll try to phone the shop where i bought this bass. <.<

PS: Thanks greg

EDIT: Ok i'm not yet sure on what's going on with this bass.
On saturday i'm going back to my dealer and i'll see what will happen.
Let's say i have to replace the truss, or even worse the neck alltogether, will I have to pay something? I should just give my serial number + compile the warranty paper found inside the manual?
I'm getting quite worried about that, could you tell me how does it work usually.
