Need some help with D-tuner please

3 easy fixes for both of these problems.

1/ Buy a 5 string bass

2/ buy a second bass tuned down half a step!

3/ If you cant afford any of these, rob a bank!

Seriously, I would not leave home with out a 5 stringer these days. Alot of people say they cant get used to them, but if you put the effort in, it doensnt really take that long. The secret is, "your "B" string is your new thumb rest"! Once you master that, your laughing!!

I have two five strings. I play them all the time, but the string spacing on a 4 string is much more comfortable to me. I like my fingers to have a bit more room after striking a string, instead of hitting the string below them instantly.

Easy solution: Broadneck 5. "Course it's not so easy on the wallet...
 
Oh, I didn't know they made those. Do they have the same spacing as a 4 string? I'd heavily consider trading my two five strings for one of those...

Standard 4 string spacing is 19mm,broadneck is 20mm. :wink:
