My Warwick CL 112 doesn't turn on!!!!

Hello people:

I just bought a second hand warwick CL 112 (old model) from internet.
I conected the power cable, check all connections (power outlet, bass cable, speaker cable), but the combo's amplifier doesn't turn on, after switch it on.
I rechecked the cable's connections, battery from my active bass and nothing (there are no lights on the amp section, totally death...)
Next I opened the fuse chamber, and there was 2 fuses, both of them looked fine for me (apparently no blowned fuses).

I'm about to try to send it back to the previous owner, but I would like to know if there is some other "user serviceable" step I can go through, in order to get this baby working again.

Hey mate,sorry to hear about your amp problem.Other than changing the fuse there's not much else ya can do.It's probably best to return it.

Yeah, I think I'll try to return it back.
I'll just give it one day to try any possible "simple solution".

Any other suggestion?
 
Some more information:

When I turn it on, the cool fan start for a while (like 2 seconds), and there turns off, leaving an ugly sound from the speaker (like when you are touching the end of a cable plug conected to an amp).

Also, in the fuse chamber there are two fuses. I should change both? Or one is just a replacement?

It means the unit starts. But you can hear no sound... Or... you can hear the noise.
I didn't understand, the fan turns off, or the whole amplifier? It doesn't seem to be a fuse... I think it is a contact on a pot, or input jack, these things are happening due the shipping.
You can check the fuse by yourself, it has a wire inside, if the wire is ok, the fuse is ok, if the wire is broken, the fuse is burned.

Well, when I switch the amp on, the unit doesn't start (no lights blinking in the front panel).
Only the fan start to spin for less than 1 sec, and then stops.

The fuse is not blown (the wire inside is ok). Also, only to recheck, I tried several new fuses...same history.

About the sound, after the fan stops, the only thing I can hear is an ugly noise, totally independent from the gain, master or any other control. It only stops when I unplug the speaker or turn the main switch off.

Anyhow, tomorrow the previous owner will take the amp to a repair shop. He assure me that the amp was working before shipping, so hopefully is only some lose contact.

We will see...

PS: By the way, I'm still waiting for the reply from warwick support!!!! Not supportive at all :x
 
New information

Hi everyone:

Just posting because I received back the repaired warwick cl112 unit.

The problem were two: A lose contact (apparently in the input jack), and a lose welding point elsewere. Not very sure about the details, because the repairing report was written in Japanese (Yes, I'm living in Tokyo by the way...)

Also the unit received some contact cleaning work. Now is working fine :D
The former owner paid for 75% of the overall cost, which was fine to me.

I have to mention also that I received a couple of emails from warwick support, directly from the authorized dealer here in Japan. Even though it took a while to receive a reply from them, they were very supportive and friendly (and they speak english :) ). They offer me to repair the amp for a reasonable price, but I didn't because the former owner took care of the reparation, as I told before.

+1 for the warwick service in Tokyo!!!!
