:lol: You can borrow the gorilla mask and be my stand in if you want - you'll need to gain some weight though ;)
 
Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that! If you need any help just contact me and I'll see if I can do something for you.
Watch out very properly for cold soldering joints in the control cavity and touch/put light pressure on everything with a pencil and see if you can short out the signal to locate the defective area.

I don't know actually?!?!?

I rehearsed tonight through the same PA in which it died on me last time. It worked well and sounded awesome, despite half-dead strings. I have not changed the battery.
 
Mine sounds better with half dead strings. Gives it a bit more depth and tames the brightness a bit.

The thumb sounds it's best with brand new strings, but that's quite a dark sounding bass anyway.
