Squiers (note the correct spelling), depending on the model are often made of real wood - Alder and Agathis are popular.

Ya think one out of a cheap starter pack is real wood? Guess Squier's (I used the c'rect spelign) are hit and miss. When I was in Houston Mars Music (it was that long ago) had to reneck more than half of their imported Fenders, the sold the necks for 5 bucks a pop. I never bought one, they were that bad.

I like that guy's playing, not too much, fast don't always equal good. The bass sounds great too. If that's Winger aint it Kip that's dropping the anchor?
 
I may be biased but how about a Framus Cobra half stack and Framus Camarillo 7-string guitar. That's Metal !m!

i thought that myself at fisrt, but OP is talking about Squiers and whatever other crap.
The rig you speak of would be what $7000 easily.
I like the Panthera myself. ill have one some day.

Yep, Willie Adler used to play a Framus Diablo. Now he's got his own ESP signature. They also used to play on Framus amps and cabs.

I know, played his ESP, it's great man, just enough
grit in the pickups, blows Wylde out of the water.
