Very playable set up, very powerful controls. The $$ is one of the best basses ever!

God bless the clerk at GC, despite the price increase and the Euro advantage over the US$, I got this bass and all the goodies for $1170 out the door!

The $$ have a high versatility, that's one of their main appeal: each pickup can be routed to Single coil (J-style) Series (P-style) or Parallel (Humbucker style...) at the flick of a switch, which gives tremendous sonic possibilities...

I'll just point out though (from previous threads and my own experience)... that many of us just stick to the full parallel humbucking mode for gigging... it is a huge outrageous sound and quite addictive!
